From Us to You
On behalf of the Advisory Board and the Women's Ministries Board, we want to welcome you to the Women's Ministries of Central Church. Our theme this year is "A Disciple Puts Feet to Her Faith!" Our heart's longing is to minister to the needs of those in our church and community. We also desire to reach every woman for Christ and to see her become a fully devoted disciple of the Lord Jesus. We seek to grow in Christ, develop authentic friendships, and connect women to areas of service. Please look through this brochure and find an area or areas of ministry in which you can serve the Lord with us. Then click here to register for a Circle that best fits you so we may talk to you about serving with us. In Christ,
Ellen Olford, Director of Women's Ministries

2 Peter: How to Be Kept From Falling - (8 lessons)
In a day when false teachers are leading countless people astray, to live effectively for Christ we need to know the truth. Learn to live effectively and grow in spiritual discernment.
Thursday Morning/Evening Bible Study- begins January 14th at 9:30/6:30.
Discover the parallels of the Tabernacle's building and your life as a chosen vessel of God. Taped in Beth Moore's home church in Houston, this updated edition of A Woman's Heart reflects not only the original study, but all that God has done in Beth's life in the past decade. Regardless of whether you studied Beth's first study with LifeWay years ago - or are experiencing it for the first time - you'll find this study well worth the journey.
Mom2Mom Bible Study begins Wednesday, January 13th 9:30am, Conversation Peace
Here's a women's study that really hits home. Mary Kassian masterfully presents the biblical principles to help women revolutionize their speech habits and improve their relationships by focusing on ways to positively avoid sharing gossip, throwing negative barbs, or snapping sarcastic replies throughout everyday life.

Circle of Hope
Have you, someone in your family, or someone you know received a diagnosis of cancer? Let God show you that you are not alone. Circle of Hope helps women with cancer bear their burden, increase their faith and give them hope. It is open to all women who have been affected by cancer in some way. Come meet with us for comfort, spiritual guidance and prayer.
When: The first Thursday of the
month from 12:00-2:00 in the Hospitality Room.
Our goal is to bring women who have had similar
experiences together to promote friendship and camaraderie, decrease fear and
uncertainty, while offering hope throughout your personal cancer experience.

others who share your journey.
Mentoring and Discipleship Ministry
If you feel God's nudge to be a mentor and share in another woman's life by using what God has done in your life to encourage and assist her in the glorious walk of a Christian woman...
or
If you are a woman who has been feeling the need to talk to another Christian woman who has "been in your shoes" and with God's help made it through and who wants to support and encourage you as a mentee at this time in your Christian life...
Please call women's ministries at 901-255-8113.
Mentoring and Discipleship Mission Statement:
Mentoring may encompass discipleship, encouragement, and accountability, both spiritually and practically for the Christian woman. A mentoring relationship that encompasses discipleship is the process by which a Christian woman commits herself for an extended length of time to disciple an individual who has been won to Christ. Discipleship will be a vital part of the Women Mentoring Women relationships at Central Church.
The purpose of this relationship is to guide others to continually seek God through Prayer, the study of His Word, and by the leadership of the Holy Spirit to apply His precepts in their daily walk as they develop a servant's heart.
